Restless Love

Love breaks down pride,
To the point of no return,
Outstanding, everlasting,
And forever endures.

You pull me to the side,
Next to the Cliff we stand,
My stolen heart was never rescued,
You still holding on to it in your hand

My everything in faith,
Trusting you will bring me close to you,
I'm not wanting to step out to the edge,
To find the one love that is true.

The heart of love is fear,
To step out to the edge,
Afraid one will fall for love,
Slowly ceasing in his death.

We have hope in the hopeless,
That they will walk out above,
Trusting the Lord that saved them,
Giving strength in restless love.

Here are some verses that have lead me to writing this poem, along with the help of my friend Josh Compston.

John 15:10
If you obey my commands, you will remain in my love, just as I have obeyed my Father's commands and remain in his love.

Hebrews 10:23-25
23Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful. 24And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds. 25Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching.

Everlasting Hope

Can the heart I once loved,
Push me into the tide,
Till I lose sense of hope,
Calling out in a desperate cry.

Your calling out my name,
I'm drowning in your eyes,
Save me from My broken love,
Forgetting the heart and its lies.

I'm forgetting my love for you,
For even how hard it seems,
Time we fell close together,
Now so far, drifting out at sea.

Can old love be this far,
And still feel the pain,
Her cold heart still beating,
In my days while I'm lame.

What hurts the most,
Is Pulling far from my love,
Knowing its not time to move,
Till the letter comes from above.

Its hard to forget the past,
And find the one that is true,
Fighting the waves the pulled me out,
Getting a chance to be renewed.

I'm finally on solid ground,
Standing away from my past,
No looking back for love,
It was God's hope that will forever last.

This verse inspired me along with other things on my mind, hope you like it:

1 Corinthians 13:4-7
4.Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5.It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 6.Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 7.It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.

Unfailing Love

Can love be for gotten,
In the depth of our soul,
Can memories be cherished,
Because my heart does not grow old.

I've seen the days,
Where love was such a fight,
For everyone's freedom,
For one mans life.

Can love be a walk,
Where day by day its needed,
Until the time flies,
We lose sense to leave it.

My days are numbered,
And are yet to be unknown,
But i still live out love,
And give thanks to the one i owe.

When my name shall be called,
I will come before you throne,
lay all my life in your glory,
And will forever sing a new song

Can the ocean wipe our footprints,
From the place we fell behind,
Giving strength to the restless,
Unfailing love never dies.

these are the verses that have inspired me, hope you get something out of them.

Isaiah 54:10
Though the mountains be shaken
and the hills be removed,
yet my unfailing love for you will not be shaken
nor my covenant of peace be removed,"
says the LORD, who has compassion on you.

Psalm 143:8
Let the morning bring me word of your unfailing love,
for I have put my trust in you.
Show me the way I should go,
for to you I lift up my soul.

True Love

Your words are in my mouth,
He is Exalting upon our throne,
Whoa how he loves us,
The depths of my heart hear your moan.

Your unsatisfied grief,
To lose a close friend,
In the depths of the ocean,
May the love forever live.

Going to that spot where he sunk,
Filled from this pain of loss,
How he taught to love,
From the Man on the Cross.

Can we find our grip on life,
Before the ocean calls our name,
Slowly slipping away,
Can our heart bare the pain.

Catch us as we're falling,
As the love we fell,
For one man to sacrifice his life,
So that we might all be well.

I encourage you to watch this video. it inspired me to write this poem, and its also the story behind the song: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Chx6s3qXKt4

Grace Was Given

I've fallin' down,
The Path of Faith,
Coming from no Hope,
Seeing Life's mistakes.

I got brought to this place,
Where Graces was made,
At the foot of the Cross,
You could picture this day.

The day of pain,
For The King to give his life,
For one man's blood,
My freedom for his sacrifice.

He was tortured and spat on,
Broken inside,
He gave everything within Him
So that love and grace will never die

Gifts of Grace, while in pain,
Sores to God's heart, faith flying,
For his neighbor who is lost,
Rescuing hope while He was dying.

John 19:28-30
28.Later, knowing that all was now completed, and so that the Scripture would be fulfilled, Jesus said, "I am thirsty." 29.A jar of wine vinegar was there, so they soaked a sponge in it, put the sponge on a stalk of the hyssop plant, and lifted it to Jesus' lips. 30.When he had received the drink, Jesus said, "It is finished." With that, he bowed his head and gave up his spirit...............

Isaiah 53:5
But he was pierced for our transgressions,
he was crushed for our iniquities;
the punishment that brought us peace was upon him,
and by his wounds we are healed.

We really dont realize what all God did for us, And how much he paid for your sins. I encourage you to watch this video, and maybe it might change your view of how Grace was truelly given.

Covered by Grace

Chains of guilt,
fear of shame,
trouble me,
and bring me pain.

My struggles of weakness,
yields to His soul,
to fall down in reverence,
beneath His control.

Freedom calls my name,
redemption draws near,
to the glory of my God
faith conquers Fear.

I am His child,
He calls me by name,
my sins are forgiven,
what was lost is now gained.

I'm covered by Grace,
my stain is now gone,
beneath His blood,
I sing a new song.

No more chains,
to tie me down,
freedom finds his will,
upon holy ground.

Keep me on Your narrow path,
that leads me to Your heart,
inside a safe haven I'll rest,
in your light, surrounded by dark.

He's the God i Honor,
a love of sacrifice,
the cup that overflows,
into my broken life.

He pulled me out and rescued me

the waves are tossing,
the boat is rocking,
we're on our knees,
and crying to our God.

save me oh LORD,
in these reckless times,
give me Your light of hope,
in the storm of my life.

the boat is sinking fast,
I'm falling beneath Your hand,
catch me Lord as I'm drowning,
please give me the strength to with stand.

so He stretched out His hand,
to give me a new chance,
and to pull me from my sin,
now on his solid rock i stand.

now...
the water rise,
into the deep,
but, He pulled me out,
and rescued me

now I'm out of he water
that took me down,
into his love,
where his grace is found.

Redeemed by Faith

The time I fell,
In the pit of shame,
Calling out through hopelessness,
Until I heard His name,

The flowing of His love,
All through my veins,
He extended His arm of love,
And redeemed me by faith,

How great is His strength,
As my weakness lets go,
To accept His salvation,
Now I am truly whole!

How far I've ran,
Down the beach of hope,
To recognize my failures,
That my heart had let go,

His grace is sufficient,
His mercy is everlasting,
His Love is never ending,
His compassion is unsurpassing.

Glory

Let my heart be your vessel,
Pour out your love upon my days,
Forever standing in your glory,
Forever worship you with praise.

I want to sing of your heavens,
As I bow before your throne,
Righteous holy Lord my savior,
My God I trust in you alone.

Let my life bring you glory,
Let my heart reflect your face,
Let my words tell your story,
I’ll live forever in your grace.

I will sing of your glory,
I will sing of your praise,
I will tell of your story,
And forever praise your name.

Sing for Joy Beneath Your Wings

Let my heart not be silent,
In the silence let it sing,
For you raise me up to love you,
I give you all I can bring.

Be merciful in my silence,
To you my love will shout,
On life’s mountains,
in death’s valleys,
May my heart to you cry out.

May I sing for joy your song,
Through the moments all my days,
As I think upon your glories,
As I walk in your ways.

I will call with all of my heart,
Answer me wile I wait,
As I sit in your silent shadow,
My heart arises in your name.

The heavens declare your glory,
Your skies proclaims your work at hand,
Beneath the shadows of your love,
I sit and wait at your right hand.

I wait for your salvation,
I will follow your commands,
As I sit beneath your glories,
At the foot of your right hand,

I will walk about in freedom,
I will speak of you, my king,
I will arises to greet you coming,
I will sit beneath your wing.
